Fluid Colour Reference
Colour-coding pipes by contents is the easiest way to make a fluid network readable a hundred hours later. These are the game's own colour values for all 15 fluids — 10 liquids and 5 gases — read straight out of the game data rather than eyedropped from screenshots. Click any swatch to copy its hex code.

How to use these in game
Open the Customizer, pick a custom colour slot, and enter the hex code. Paint your pipes and fluid buffers with the slot that matches what they carry. The point is not decoration — it is that a Nitrogen line and a Sulfuric Acid line stop looking identical when you come back to a factory after a week away.
Six of these are hard to see on a dark background
Crude Oil is nearly black (#190019, contrast 1.23 against this page's
background) and Dark Matter Residue is barely better. If you are building against
dark foundations, these colours will disappear. Pair them with a light frame or a
sign rather than relying on the pipe colour alone. The swatches above carry a thin
outline where contrast falls below 3:1.
Why solid items are not listed
The game's data file has a colour field on every item, but for solids it holds a white placeholder rather than a real colour. You will find community threads with hand-picked hex codes for iron plates and concrete — those are eyedropped from screenshots by players, not values from the game. We are not going to reprint them as if they were official. Only liquids and gases carry genuine colour data, so only those are here.
